Scavenger Hunt - Week 13th November

This post is for the Scavenger Hunt - Week 13th November. The five submissions were for Opposing Lines, Before and After, Custom Bokeh, Which Pair of Shoes Should I Wear and Little Features.

Here is my interpretation and entry for the Scavenger Hunt.
1. Opposing Lines
I'm not sure if I can do justice to this image; it was rather disturbing feeling when I took it because this was taken at Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar. Today a memorial, this place witnessed human massacre when General Dyer ordered a mass firing at a gathering that saw over 1000 innocent civilians, men, women and children, die. To protect themselves a few jumped in a (this well) but probably never made it out.

Locked Inside the Depths

 2. Before and After
On my recent trip to London, I was fortunate to see evolution right on the street. And to me, it is also a perfect fit for this theme.

Before - The Old London Red Bus

After - The Modern day London Red Bus

3. Custom Bokeh
On a trip to Bhandardara, near Mumbai, I caught this macro of a Dragonfly; the bokeh though came off pretty well with little dots all around

4. Which Pair of Shoes Should I Wear
Men generally have an advantage when it comes to picking their shoes. Mine's a little too simple, here are the settings for my feet - shoes for home, work and play

5. Little Features
Another interesting shot that I managed in London when the summers came back during autumn. It was a pleasant surprise for all, but who better to show how to have fun than little kids. Don't miss out on the little toddler who watches on, almost waiting and wanting to jump in himself.
